About the Project:
Our Rollover Cleat/ Bollard is particularly useful on sailing ‘Superyachts’, where mooring/ docking equipment becomes a hinderance as soon as the lines are cast off. These amazing pieces of equipment. The Rollover Cleat/ Bollards are ‘customized’ to client requirements. In the example shown, a series of hideaway cleats was required for the aft bathing deck, a huge structure that folds away into the stern of the vessel.
Our early proposal drawings resulted in ‘virtual’ solid models, which were accepted for ordering: (click thumbnails to view larger)
Prior to manufacturing, final ‘virtual’ models were approved, as well as ‘rapid prototypes’ by 3D printing. After final approval of rapid prototypes, the cleats were manufactured from high strength stainless steel using Multi-axis CNC. The final results are shown, together with the solid ‘rapid prototype.’ (click thumbnails to view larger)
